Winner of the 2015 Marine Corps Heritage Foundation Norman Hatch Award. A documentary film about the World War II battle at Okinawa which was the last and bloodiest battle of that war. The 82-day battle claimed the lives of over 250,000 people. The film includes interviews from veterans of the Sixth Marine Division who relive their frontline experiences. Also interviewed is military historian and author Bill Sloan. The film is filled with pictures and footage from that battle. Narrated by Eric Sizemore.
