SLIPSTREAM - "Transcendental"
Slipstream hails from Northampton, England, just a space walk away
from Rugby, home to eminent space-psych heavyweights Spacemen 3
and Spiritualized, and the musical equivalent of Area 51. Prior
to Slipstream, Mark Refoy cut his teeth as a member of both legendary
ensembles, appearing on Spacemen 3's 'Recurring' as well as Spiritualized’s ‘Laser

RHINOS - "Year Of the Rhinos"
Sweden's The Rhinos have delivered a record that contains perhaps the highest “jangle” quotient
in Rainbow Quartz history. It blends Byrds-like guitars with Hollies-esque
vocals -- mixing a combination of ingratiating melodies and a solid rock 'n'
roll attitude.

THE JESSICA FLETCHERS - "What Happened To The?"
Trafficking in a lysergic blend of non-linear jangle and harmony with splashes
of very cool organ and keyboards, Oslo's Jessica Fletchers are able to make
refreshing sense of the ‘60s sound. The result is an amalgam of such
sounds as Kinks / Buzzcocks / early Bowie.

FONDA - "Catching Up To the Future"
Catching Up To The Future is the third album by LA's Fonda.
Co-ed vocals and a wall of guitars showcase a shoegazer sheen buoyed
by classic pop hooks. It’s dreampop with heaps of melody
like a mix of Lush, Rocketship, and Heavenly. English expatriates
Emily Cook and David Newton (founder/guitarist/songwriter of The
Mighty Lemon Drops) provide an international flavor to the proceeding
along with bandmates David Klotz, Adam Flanders, and Johnny Joyner.
Alternative Press describes the band’s sound as “Technicolor
California pop cross bred with British indie pop, featuring a dash
of psychedelia and dreamy female vocals.”

OUTRAGEOUS CHERRY - "Supernatural Equinox"
SUPERNATURAL EQUINOX is arguably Matt Smith's strongest composition
to date: a multitude of pure pop gems, like 7" singles from
the past, glitter amongst guitar workouts that sound like Hendrix
dueling with Fripp. The songs of SUPERNATURAL EQUINOX are beamed
in from some other dimension: pianos, trumpets, sitars and tambourines
adorn a squall of guitars and the obligatory driving, primal beats.
Smith’s lyrics follow Dylan-esque labyrinths through cathedrals
of reverberation and stratospheres of echoplex.

Contact: Amy Couch amy@parasol.com
"They don't hide the fact that their main influence is classic British pop,
but they've also been doing this long enough to have made it just one part of

very big noise."--AllMusic Guide
