That's Ryan Adams. The little bastard dusts off a beat up old ten gallon hat and channels some of his classic country influences on Jacksonville City Nights. A great cryin' in your beer kind of record like they used to make before popular county music became so hopelessly cheesy and fake. The Floyd Cramer-esque, honky tonk piano and dusty, old-timey steel guitar really give the material that time worn feel. In fact, cd and 60's inspired artwork ought to come in an pre-scratched-up jewel box.
