Another Day Goodbye
"In
a word, shimmering. In two words, for fans of emotive Brit
pop and music that depends on soft vocals and inviting electric
guitars, buy it." -DelusionsOfAdequacy.com

As
expected Ronderlin has produced lush and intimate album slathered
in glittery guitars, luscious acoustic arrangements, heartwarming
male vocals and songs that
will keep your mind occupied for days. Lyrically the album is more Queen
Is Dead than Pink Moon, and at first blush the album seems
to be a study in minimalism. Its not long though before the exquisite and
ornate instrumentation (organ, strings, horns, piano) begins to shimmer and build
upon itself
And like many of their rocking Gothenburg brethren, Ronderlin
are certainly perfectionists. Of course, their idealistic quest is in the chiming
pop realm, rather than rock, but the intensity and depth of feeling in their
work is no less powerful and magnetic. In the name of perfection the album was
mixed no less than three (3!) times before the band finally teamed up with producer
Johan Forsman (Hakan Hellstrom, Soundtrack of our Lives, Caesars Palace) for
a beautifully understated final mix.
