12/01/2005 Entry: "Galaxy Gramophone WRFU"

My wife Lisa and I do an hour-long weekly radio show on fledgling low-power station WRFU (Radio Free Urbana) found at 104.5 on the FM dial, Tuesday evenings 10PM-11PM CST. No surprise that we're playing Scandinavian rock and pop stuff, and equally unsurprising that we call it Galaxy Gramophone. Each show includes a few history lessons and then we kick in with the newest releases plus the latest free legal mp3 action.

Speaking of history...over the Holidays we'll have entire shows devoted to The Soundtrack of Our Lives, Motorpsycho, 22-Pistepirkko, and The Bear Quartet, bands with remarkable catalogs stretching back a decade or more.
