Antony And The Johnsons
You Are My Sister
PS, US Antony & The Johnsons breakthrough album I Am
A Bird Now has certainly touched fans and critics alike.
His second full-length - released in February - stands
as one of the most globally acclaimed albums of 2005. The
album's latest single is the anthemic and heart-rending "You
Are My Sister", presented as a duet between Antony
and Boy George. Together these two vocalists climb to the
highest peak of emotional vulnerability, providing for
the listener one of the most touching and uncanny duets
of the past decade. It's heartbreaking when Antony sings, "You
are my sister / we were born / so innocent, so full of
need / there were times we were friends / but times I was
so cruel / at night I'd asked for to watch me as I sleep".
With soaring and world-weary intensity, Boy George utterly
commands the refrain: "You are my sister / and I love
you / may all of your dreams come true." In "You
Are My Sister," the pair sing from the depths of their
hearts for the world. This extended single also includes
three new, unreleased songs recorded during the I Am A
Bird Now sessions. "Poorest Ear" is a harrowing
and complex vision from the perspective of an alienated
child. Responding perhaps to "You Are My Sister," Antony
sings of a girl who wishes to save her imperiled brother
in "Forest of Love." Finally, "Paddy's Gone" is
a choral lament to long-lost man. These tracks all seem
to support Antony's recent assertion; "Recently I
have been imagining that we contain a family inside us...
a mother, a father, a boy, a girl and a baby. I Am a Bird
Now represents a dialogue between some of these figures."

Caroline
Where's My Love
PS, US Born and raised in Okinawa, Japan, Caroline (last
name: Lufkin) elicits that rare EVERYONE HAS TO HEAR THIS
RIGHT NOW response that bounces inside your head when you
hear music that feels like an epiphany. Produced by Sweden-born
Andreas Bjorck, "Where's My Love" sparkles like
crystal wind chimes, with Caroline's fragile, angelic voice
like a siren's breath against your cheek. Combining minimalist
electronic instrumentation, classic arrangements, and vocals
that seem supernaturally transparent, "Where's My
Love" is virtually autonomous, defying referential
impulse. It's the sound of a million tiny shards of recognizable
sound (Bjork, Joanna Newsom, Boards of Canada, Portishead,
Lali Puna, Sigur Ros, and Aphex Twin, for starters), poured
into a totally unique new mold. This is the sound we were
waiting for.

Conrad, Tony
Early Minimalism Vol. 1
PS, US In 1962 Tony Conrad's amplified strings introduced
the sustained drone of just-intonation into what came to
be known as "minimal" music. Utilizing long durations
and precise pitch, he and his collaborators forged an aggressively
mesmerizing "Dream Music" - denying the activity
of composition, elaborating shared ideas of performance,
and articulating the Big Bang of "minimalism".
However, the many rehearsal and performance recordings
from this period were repressed, inaccessibly buried. In
1987 Conrad set out on a ten-year return expedition to
the site of these entombed fragments; from them he reconstructed
and regenerated the epic EARLY MINIMALISM. Reaching back
through time, Tony Conrad weaves a mobile narrative over
and under minimalism: making music out of history, and
history out of music.

Dirty Faces
Super American
PS, US The Dirty Faces thrive on contradiction as well
as adversity. A series of personnel changes has seemingly
only made them a stronger, more creative and more dedicated
band. They are fiercely loyal to Pittsburgh, yet their
guitar player lives in Brooklyn. Their live shows are noisy,
messy affairs, but their albums contain surprising moments
of quiet lucidity. While they are equally influenced by
both American and British art punk (The Fall, Pere Ubu)
and 1970's classic rock (Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top), along with
(of course) a healthy admiration for the primal rock of
Iggy & the Stooges, AC/DC and everything hip hop, they
manage to boil these influences down into something at
once recognizable yet wholly their own. Originally founded
in 1997 by singer T Glitter as a way to set his lyrics
to his idea of what punk rock meant back then, the band
soon became known for their energetic, often confrontational
live shows. Band lineups shifted, but core members Tricky
Powers and Glitter have remained constants. Their first
album, Covered in Lime (Rickety Records, 1998), was described
by Index magazine as "classic Rust Belt punk, a frenzied
take on drug use and crumbling relationships in a city
where everybody knows everybody." The album made the
Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's year-end Top Albums list. In
2002 the band released their second album-the less conventional,
more experimental More Lies (Rickety Records, 2002)-to
favorable reviews, while the live shows maintained their
scary nature.

Dondero, David
South Of The South
PS, US Former SUNBRAIN singer/guitarist, this is a richer,
more worn-in feel than any of his previous records. ERIC
BACHMAN (CROOKED FINGERS), MIKE VASQUEZ, TOM HEYMAN, DAN
CARR, & CHRIS HEINRICH collectively bring decades worth
of musical wisdom that spreads all over these songs like
the dust from a pickup peeling out on a dirt road. Of course
it wouldn't feel right without longtime cohort CRAIG D
on drums, & longtime Dondero fans can take comfort
in his presence. This determined, eerie, country-stomper--finds
Heyman manipulating a reverb heavy slide guitar line, while
Bachman lays a blanket of keys. Nice

Drift, The
Noumena
PS, US Anticipation for the debut album by San Francisco's
The Drift has grown much faster than anyone could have
predicted, following the sought-after "Streets"/"Nozomi" 12".
With the debut full-length, Noumena, the band leaves no
stone unturned. Taking their name to heart, The Drift do
just that - from ambient noise and elegant guitar rock
to mournful jazz ballads and stunted, down-tempo hip-hop
- all with the subtle grace that is to be expected from
veterans of the sound. As The Drift, Danny Grody (Tarentel,
Furniture), Safa Shokrai, Jeff Jacobs, and Rich Douthit
(Halifax Pier) comfortably expand on the cinematic bliss
that Tarentel willfully abandoned long ago for more chaotic
landscapes. Existing somewhere between Miles Davis's In
A Silent Way and Tarentel's From Bone To Satellite, The
Drift compose predestined soundtracks for everyday life
- not only perfect for a night on the beach, but just as
suitable for the long drive getting there. Their music
is inescapably passionate, executed with just enough wide-eyed
improvisation to sound eternally fresh.

Hank Williams, Towes Van Zant, Black Flag, & Dirty

Earlies, The
These Were the Earlies
PS, US Produced on both sides of the Atlantic and with
a palette of sounds almost as wide; The Earlies debut album
These Were The Earlies brings together their first self
released singles and subsequent EP's. Originally released
in 2004 on Names/679 Recordings in the UK, Secretly Canadian
is proud to present this gem to the long-deprived people
of North America. Working with manipulated performances
by a collective of English and American musicians These
Were The Earlies combines layered vocals with imaginary
and more traditional instruments to produce a unique pop
sound where sonic exploration can still take place. Residing
in Northern England and Western Texas The Earlies are united
by a shared love of The Band, The Beach Boys, The Byrds,
and The Beatles. All get a gracious nod on The Earlies
debut album together with a unique mix of obscure psychedelic,
progressive, leftfield and country influences. It's very
apt that Brian Wilson has waited until recently to unveil
his masterpiece Smile, it could be said The Earlies have
provided us with the 21st Century equivalent. The variety
of instrumental texture, layered harmonies and electronic
tweaks - complete with a strong American lead vocal - could
easily make The Earlies a Jason Pierce, Neil Young, and
Phil Spector side project were they all decided to let
their hair down and have a bit of fun for a change. Traversing
some of the same territory inhabited by Deserter's Songs-era
Mercury Rev and Olivia Tremor Control, The Earlies truly
steer their own ship

Peltier, Tommy
Chariot Of Astral Light
PS, US Singer/songwriter Tommy Peltier started in the 1960s
as a trumpet player, releasing LPs with Roland Kirk under
the name The Jazz Corps. In 1970, Tommy switched to guitar
and vocals and formed a close friendship with Judee Sill
that would last throughout her life. With an acid folk
sound not unlike Tom Rapp & Pearls Before Swine, these
early 1970's recordings with Judee are released for the
first time. Besides Judee Sill on vocals, guitar, and keyboards,
the CD also features Lynn Blessing and Wolfgang Melz of
the Gabor Szabo Quintet and Dave Parlato of Frank Zappa's
Sleep Dirt LP. This enhanced CD also includes a video from
1973 of Peltier, Sill, and others performing in a television
studio.

Pinetop Seven
The Night's Bloom
PS, US Pinetop Seven began in 1996 as a loose collective
of young Chicago musicians interested in re-working the
notion of popular American music; co-opting elements from
diverse musical traditions (Tango, Funeral Dirges, 20th
Century Classical, Eastern European, Asian Gamelan) and
blending them with American Folk and Country-Blues. Over
the group's 8 year/ 5 album history, twenty three men and
women have contributed to the records or participated as
touring members, among them past or present members of
Bright Eyes, Wilco, the Boxhead Ensemble, and Rilo Kiley.
Despite the ever-changing cast, the mission statement remains
unchanged, and anchored by songwriter, multi-instrumentalist
and singer Darren Richard, Pinetop Seven continues to quietly
assemble compelling collages of sounds and words, mini-epics
of storytelling, and snapshots of an America that Norman
Rockwell would never recognize. The Night's Bloom continues
the band's tradition of pairing abstract storytelling with
an unusual musical sense, drawing inspiration from the
likes of John Fahey's "American Primitives" (Skip
James, Dock Boggs) to the avant-garde musics of Harry Partch
and Moondog. From the singer-songwriter laments of Jackson
Frank and Tim Hardin, to the haunted film scores of Angelo
Badalamenti (David Lynch) and Nino Rota (Federico Fellini).
The cryptic tales are stark and personal, and bring to
mind the narratives of Jim Jarmusch, Raymond Carver and
John Fante.

Quio
Like Oooh!
PS, GEMANY Quio is a Berlin-based MC, singer, and performer
who started MCing in 1997 as MC Looney Tunes. This is her
first full-length album, and her second release for AGF
Producktion. She performed with drum n' bass and hip-hop
DJs in Berlin and throughout Europe, going on to meet DJ
G-Serve from Audiotaxi and DJ Christine Lang. Quio is also
a part of a radio show on Berlin's former pirate radio
station TWEN FM. Quio met AGF (Antye Greie) when they both
performed in a club, and various collaborations followed.
In 2003 they started Quio. AGF and Quio have put together
their different herkunft, to come up with some unique new
combinations of hip-hop lyrics and experimental electronic
beats - mixing drum n' bass MC rhymes with anthem-like
sad tracks. Between walking to playgrounds, talking to
mothers, saving babies from being driven over, spoon feeding,
clothes washing and food shopping, Quio has compiled an
album full of eclectic combinations - uptempo beats and
sweet, melancholy tunes; two-steps and Greek string guitars;
heavy metal and electroclash. Quio wants to be misunderstood
and taken unseriously. She will break unbearable content
into amusing snippets of new sense, or break up nonsense
while replacing them with playful clichés. Her ability
to MC along with a vast array of breakbeat music such as
drum n' bass, U.K. garage, hip-hop etc. has gifted her
with both twisted and profound lyrical content. Guest artists
include 15 year-old singer Lise, Dr. Dee, AGF, Audiotaxi,
Daddy Jotka, DJ G-Serve, MC Chubba, Dr. Data, and Lempapa.

Rogue Wave
Descended Like Vultures
PS, US Their second full-length for Sub Pop is a velvety,
darkly dichotomous album: pop vs. despair; hope vs. realism.
It's the sound of four people's ideas colliding. "Descended" finds
Zach Rogue's unapologetic hooks and soaring melodies built
up skyscraper high by bandmates and multi-instrumentalists
Pat Spurgeon, Gram LeBron, and Evan Farrell, who've grown
close and road weary, thanks to a year of intensive international
touring with The Shins, Helio Sequence, TV On The Radio,
and Mates Of State. This is Zach's warmest, most brash

Silver Sunshine
A Small Pocket of Pure Spirit
PS, US With their eponymous debut receiving glowing reviews,
Silver Sunshine are being depicted as "the band that
could bring pop psychedelia to a new generation" (HARP).
Experimenting with different instruments, harmonies, and
moods, Richard Vaughan (guitar, vocals), Conor Riley (guitar,
vocals), Stuart Sclater (bass), and Iain Andrew (drums)
have honed their craft for intricate song structures and
winding melodies, bestowing upon their fans "A Small
Pocket of Pure Spirit". Silver Sunshine are viscerally
being pulled into darker and heavier territory without
resistance, creating songs woven with themes ranging from
the end of the world to Greek mythology, thereby revealing
a glimpse of the progression to be heard on their next
full-length without losing any of their pop sensibility
or hooks. Continuing on this path of whimsical pop perfection,
one can only wonder what's next.

a six song EP that documents the changing of seasons in
a world of whippoorwill moans. Electric guitar howl like
a farmers hound, fuzz bass stampedes, and drums trot and
gallop like the finest of wild horses. Donovan & Glenn
write: "Not long ago the band was visiting a friend
in Port Costa, California. After sharing a bottle of wine
and enjoying the moonlight dances of his two daughters-the
friend wanted to share a secret. He pulled an oversized
key out of his overalls pocket and lead them out back to
his shed. In the shed was an ancient drumset and a cobwebby
electric guitar. The man said he knew Arlo Guthrie and
that he was once in a band called Hobo Splendor.Well that's
all it took for the Skygreen's to lose their hearts and
heads to a new muse.We played All the Young Dudes and Hobo
Jesus Blues all night long and the daughters danced ballroom.

Tallest
Future Burns the Sun
PS, US The Tallest were formed during the winter of 1997
in picturesque Lexington, Kentucky by good pals Atom Plasma,
Johnny Xybot, and Sherman Yorkshire. Plasma and Johnny
have been playing music together since their eighth grade
talent show in Henry County, KY (1993). Just before the
turn of the millennium, the band relocated to Chicago,
Illinois. In 2003, they recorded most of what was to become
their first full-length album in good ol' Shelby County,
Kentucky with Jim James
and Johnny Quaid of My Morning Jacket. After signing on
with SVW in 2004, the band spent some time ironing out
a few technical kinks in their record (a feat mostly made
difficult by the lack of quality studios using 1-inch analog
tape anymore) and we are proud to bring you the results
of their hard work and perseverance. Their melodic rock
debut is sure to please listeners who look for new music
that doesn t sound just like all their other records. "Influenced

Windsor For The Derby
Empathy for People Uknown (remix)/Gunboats
PS, US As a companion piece to their latest full-length
Giving Up The Ghost, Windsor For The Derby offer up this
limited edition 12". The A-Side features Anticon Record's
man of the hour, odd nosdam (cLOUDDEAD) producing a stellar
remix of WFTD's lead-off single "Empathy For People
Unknown". On the B-Side we find an outtake from the
Ghost sessions in the form of a cover of the classic Swell
Maps cut "Gunboats." Yeah, Windsor For The Derby
was spinning this seminal band's reissues (released last
year on Secretly Canadian) as they recorded their new album.
Many parallels can be drawn between the two bands - both
Swell Maps and WFTD are ruthlessly experimental with their
craft and refuse to be pigeonholed. While WFTD began ten
years ago as forerunners in the Texas minimalist non-explosion,
they've since moved beyond the drone into deeper waters,
and with "Gunboats" we find them right at home
amidst a sprawling piece of feedback, hushed vocals, and
never losing sight of the melody. Limited to 600 copies
worldwide.

is inspired in equal parts by The Go-Betweens, Godard,
Irma Thomas, dance parties, Dexy's Midnight Runners, falling
in love, mod, and hootenannies. "City Fallen Leaves" is
an exploration of what happens in your 30's when you still
love all the things you did in your early 20's, when music
and love still mean everything but most of your friends
have settled into oblivion. There are songs about burn-outs,
the end of relationships, boredom, hope, and dreams lost
and born again.

PS, US "Heavy...pure velvet-textured sheets of LSD

Longawaited second release by side project of GREEN PAJAMAS
members JEFF KELLY & LAURA WELLER. Their debut release "Ghostland" garnered
lavish praise for musically rendering the morbid & occult
sexuality of the pre-Raphaelite movement, & their new
release examines a current analog of this milieu for another
mind-bending excursion into the themes of gothic literature.
Features songs inspired by the novels & poetry of celebrated
American author JOYCE CAROL OATES. Their mutual fascination
with this prolific & masterful author & her uniquely
dark vision resulted in this collection of songs, the source
material for which mines a broad range of her work including
lesser-known short stories, a novel under Oates' nom de
plume, and poetry. The musical style blends alternative
and folk-rock sensibilities with rich vocal harmonies.
Prior exposure to Oates' work is not required for appreciation
of the beauty & wonder which Kelly and Weller have
achieved.

Cream And Bastards Rise (PRE-ORDER: SALEABLE NOVEMBER 8TH)
PS, US This alt-pop quartet was formed in Seattle in 1994
and this release represents a dramatic change of musical
direction. A piano-driven, classic pop sensibility reigns,
and while the band's signature melodic knack remains fully
charged, the lyrics point to a more sanguine, less-caustic
perspective on the old themes of love, regret, and global
politics. It also rocks. This EP features songs from the
soon to be self-released album "Little By Little".
The band plays regularly throughout the Pacific Northwest

Yer Living Grave (PRE-ORDER: SALEABLE NOVEMBER 15TH)
PS, US Japanther have now officially been tearing it up
since 2002, since then they've played over 800 shows, toured
the country 19 or who knows how many times, and have created
a ravenous following. They still live in NYC, but you'd
never know, as they're never here. On their new 8 song
ep "yer living grave, Japanther come to the party
with a sound more faithful to their live show than we've
heard on previous recordings....this is an instant classic.
Japanther are simply 2 people, ian vanek and matt reilly,
but it's amazing what a solid wall these 2 create, and
what an incredible live experience they are to behold.
Since their last album they've toured europe, the u.s.a
2 more times, and have taken part in two live play/shows.
Most recently a play/live show based on their 2003 album,
dump the body in rikki lake, where the entire inside of
the space was painted to look like the artwork of the album,
and eleven foot high puppets battled to the sounds of japanther...no,
they're not becoming actors, and yeah, probably some sort
of dvd release is in the cards for the future, but for
now, enjoy this latest 8 song offering....and if you're
lucky it shouldn't be long before they play your town soon.

PS, US Knut is the best band you've never heard of, yet
they existed in an embryonic and potent form long before
most of today's mascara wearing, distortion-peddling metal-ites
were out of their short pants. Hybridizing metal, noise,
and hardcore while searching for new musical frontiers
in their early career, Knut embodied much of what many
bands today are still seeking to achieve and did so in
splendid form. Ten years on and many albums later, they're
still at the chopping block, prophesying a future for heavy
music that will take many years for most of us to see,
but will only take a listen to appreciate.

A Divided House (PRE-ORDER: SALEABLE OCTOBER 31ST)
PS, US Twelfth release over a 20 year span for seminal

An unexpectedly upbeat album where Edwards lowkey vocals
work over music veers away from the downcast work of his
earlier music into almost peppy territory bordering on
some of Sugar's territory. "12th album from singer,

electronic album. Often built up in overlapping layers,
Noriko's voice is beautifully recorded & placed w/in
the mix. Added alongside the gentle loops & textures
of the music, everything fits & flows together as the

Here Where Nothing Grows (PRE-ORDER: SALEABLE NOVEMBER
11TH)
PS, US This is the debut full length album of 3 rogue waves
clocking in at a full 65 fathoms. It's a slow ancient doom
harnessing the deep low end drone of Sunn 0))), Burzum's
screams, the crushing heaviness of Buried At Sea, & even
the art rock of Mogwai. Originally recorded by a physically & emotionally
exhausted band at Volume Studios in Chicago w/ Sanford
Parker (Buried At Sea/Pelican) at the tail end of a self
destructive mini tour, the group returned home minus a
drummer unhappy w/ the results of the Chicago sessions.
W/ a new drummer in tow they immediately settled in to
a familiar studio in their hometown & began the arduous
task of re-recording the album on their own. 2 months later
they emerged victorious w/ an album mastered to be played

Rosenfeld, Marina
Joy of Fear (PRE-ORDER: SALEABLE NOVEMBER 17TH)
PS, US Brings into focus a new phase in the music of Rosenfeld.
On this record, the improvisatory, experimental mode of
her turntablism merges in a new & extraordinary way
with a true compositional practice, resulting in pieces
of a profoundly musical nature that seem to transcend the
category "experimental". Infused with the sound
of her original acetate records, or dub plates, that have
been the idiosyncratic content for almost a decade of improvised
live work & recordings, this disc reintroduces the
acoustic instruments & compositional practice of her
earliest musical life. Rosenfeld's delicate writing for
cello & piano fuses dissonant, floating harmonies & minimalist
repetition, acoustic recording with computer manipulation.
She writes: "One aspect of working with dub plates
is that the sound on the records is in a continual process
of intermingling with the material of the plate itself,
which, like memory & music, is unstable & subject
to transformation with time & handling. Another is
the clumsiness, th furniture-ness of the record player,
whose popular history of pleasure & invention
both matches & recasts the different 'sublime' of cello & piano.
With this record, I feel like I've come full circle in
some way, with the very concept of sonic disappearance
that has driven much of my music for turntables beginning
to disappear behind a new, more expansive idea or musical
structure..." Opens with the sound of an ancient 78
disc played on lowest speed, & concludes with a complex
symphony of ambient noise, cello harmonics & vocal
fragments. A beautiful, & challenging work. On SOFTL
MUSIC an experimental music division of TOMLAB.

Songs of Green Pheasant
S-T (PRE-ORDER: SALEABLE NOVEMBER 1ST)
PS, UK Songs Of Green Pheasant is the solo project of Duncan
Sumpner, a 30-year-old artist / teacher from Sheffield,
England. These are - at the most basic level - a set of
simply beautiful, beautifully sung and played songs. A
lazy ear might peg the album down as another in an ever-burgeoning
line of modern folk releases, yet in honesty its sphere
of reference lies closer to an uneven lineage of singer/songwriters
and dreampop imagineers that would include Butterfly Child,
Talk Talk (and Mark Hollis), Simon and Garfunkel, Flying
Saucer Attack, Jewelled Antler Collective, Richard Youngs,
and Galaxie 500. The album makes use of a kind of rustic
visual language and timeless scenarios, attempting to utilise
simple formats (folk / lovesong) in order to say complex
things. Whilst the lyrics retain a slightly opaque audibility,
what imagery does seep through speaks of of nature, the
elements, and the universality of basic human experiences
like love / hate / death - all shot through with a sense
of melancholic nostalgia. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

March of White Lies (PRE-ORDER: SALEABLE NOVEMBER 22ND)
PS, US The return of Tristeza in their first new album
since 2nd guitarist Jimmy Lavelle left to pursue the Album
Leaf full time. Restocked with top shelf players Alison
Ables on guitar and new keyboardist Sean Ogilvie, Tristeza
are back with a fresh perspective! The songs collected
here are a nearly seamless flow of beautifully crafted
home studio recordings. Recorded in Mexico in their secret
dome-home studio, most capture a darker, dubby more dense
and slightly lo-fi feel, like a half way meeting between
Chris & Cosey and Broadcast, but done in their own
unique style. A couple things differ from what you ve come
to expect from Tristeza s previous output, mainly a first
time track with vocals (done by drummer Jimmy Lehner) and
the majority of tracks are done with programmed vintage
drum machines, instead of live drums. This special release
is a properly pressed and souped up version of a tour cdr
they took on their last US tour. The very limited tour
disc was met with some of the best reactions they ve ever
received and due to demand was pushed into this, it's newly
revamped form. This time remastered and mixed with a couple
bonus tracks tossed in for good measure. This pressing,
limited to 1000, features new art work from Brazilian artist

Complete ESP Recordings (PRE-ORDER: SALEABLE NOVEMBER 1ST)

sound controu never before heard in American music & poetry...it
transcends virtuosi vocalizing."-Village Voice.
Despite her brief musical career (consisting of only two
albums released during the mid-60s), vocal pioneer managed
to redefine the use of the human voice, while simultaneously
exploring the darkest & most anguished corners of the
female soul. Although Waters more traditional vocals have
the same raspy & brooding quality of Billie Holiday,
she uses this base as a mere springboard for avant-garde
vocal acrobatics, which range from wordless bone-chilling
shrieks & heart-rending wails, to barely audible, breathless
whispers. Arriving in NYC in the early 1960s, Waters began
performing with several jazz musicians including Charles
Mingus, Bill Evans & Jaki Byard, & soon drew the
attention of Albert Ayler who introduced her to his label
where she recorded & released her debut in 1965. Her
even more daring second LP, "College Tour", was
recorded at one of her live performances shortly thereafter, & features
pianists Ran Blake & Burton Greene. Although Waters
all but disappeared from the music scene after the late
60s, she was a major influence for many other vocal innovators,
including Yoko Ono & Diamanda Galas. Original art.

Windy & Carl
Dream House/Dedications (PRE-ORDER: SALEABLE NOVEMBER 7TH)
PS, US In many ways their simplest & most straight
forward release, concentrated as it is on 2 evolving pieces.
They are capable of sustaining melodic ideas & patiently
apply attention to singular musical gestures. Windy says
it's about "death & dreams & beliefs & leaving & moving
on. The 2nd CD are gentle tributes to a departed canine
friend. A DCD selling for the price of a single. Fancy
posters available upon request.

Wooden Wand & Vanishing Voice
The Flood (PRE-ORDER: SALEABLE NOVEMBER 8TH)
PS, US This is an exploration of the goodness inherent
in the human heart & how that decency can help transform
the world into a better place. Sound grandious? Well, revolutions
do have ambition. Long-held beliefs state that every morning
that one rises from bed they have cheated Death once more
through the grace of God. Through the extension of this
theme, every good deed a person performs during those waking
hours may very likely stand as a mark against the Reaper
on the great cosmic score sheet.
